I need 49cc’s of power in my life.

Red Suzuki FA50 Moped I’ve made an offer on.

It’s “Old and needs a battery” but runs/drives. This is much preferable to restoring an old car in my wife’s mind.

Time/Energy/Money wise she has a point, but my wife has seen the videos of mopeds and little motos getting absolutely creamed in traffic by errant cars and trucks. So none of those for me. And I had my eye on a really sweet Honda Grom, too.

GROM’s are awesome . We live in a town of 300 and I work from home. This is nearly a project just to have a project and won’t get ridden in traffic or a lot in general.

What is it about small displacement single cylinder engines that are so much fun? I need to get an updated group photo soon as the trail 140 (formerly trail 70) is now in the garage. These aren’t all mine, and there’s also another kart, a motorized circus bike, and the trail 70 as well now.
